ILLUSTRATION
Song: How Great is our GOD (artist: Chris Tomlin)

Progression:  I I I I /     I I I I/    vi vi vi vi/         vi vi vi vi /        iv iv iv iv /        v v v v /            I I I I/
                        1              2             3                         4                         5                     6                     7

I will give a how to substitute the progression with circles of fourth or fifth as it may applies to you.
Note: play  each bar according to the number of times the progression appear

The circle I am going to use in this song is v – I – IV in  the progression as I rewrite it for prefect understanding of how to use the it.

Progression:  I I I I /     I I I I/    vi vi vi vi/         vi vi v I /          IV IV IV IV /     V V V V /          I I I I/
                        1            2             3                     4                         5                    6                   7
