CIRCLE OF FOURTH AND CIRCLE OF FIFTH (things you must know about them)

The Mysteries Behind CIRCLE OF FOURTH AND FIFTH Instrumentalist Must Know

Today,  I am oblige to teach extensively the circle of fourth or the circle of fifth as it may applies to you. Enjoy the lesson as you read
In case you don’t know there are 12 keys in music including the sharp(#)  and the flat (b) the lists include
 A, A# or Bb, B, C, C# or Db, D, D# or Eb, E, F, F# or Gb, G, G#.
From this analysis, we will start to mathematically run an interval perfect fourth and perfect fifth

Circle of fourth
A » D » G » C » F » Bb » Eb » Ab » C# » F# » B » E » A
Circle of fifth
A » E » B » F# » C# » Ab » Eb » Bb » F » C » G » D » A

If we examine the music alphabets we will realize that the note of circles is inversely created from each other. { fourth (ascending) and fifth (descending)}
Note: I want you to examine this circle on your instrument now from the natural key of C. this is what you will get
C » F » Bb » Eb » Ab » C# » F# » B » E » A » D » G

Now let check useful scales, chords, and progression on the circle of fourth and fifth.

SCALE
Scales to use include the diatonic scale and pentatonic scale
For instance
C » F — C major scale or F pentatonic scales
( C major scale – C D E F G A B C)
( F major scale – F G A C D F)
If you examine the notes you are meant to play are absolutely the same.

CHORDS
Let play some chords to the notes in the circles using four counts ( ̸  ̸  ̸  ̸ ), three counts ( ̸  ̸  ̸ ), two counts ( ̸  ̸ ) and one count( ̸ ) beats
Key of C
PLAY EACH CHORDS  (1st, 3rd, 5th)
C »       C major
F »       F major
Bb »      Bb major
Eb »      Eb major
Ab »      Ab major
C# »      C# major
F# »       F# major
B »       B major
E »       E major
A »       A major
D »       D major
G »       G major
At the end, you would have master all the major chords in all keys try and master the other (minor, augmented, dominant, suspended, diminished ninth, eleventh, and thirteenth)  chords. This is the secret to learning how to play on all keys.

PROGRESSIONS
Having learnt this chords you can start to form the  ii – V – I progression from the circle which will be enormously mastered on all keys before applying them to different songs of your choice.
Major and Minor  ii – V – I progressions
This progression means that you are going to picking chord ii, chord V, and chord I in the key of C
Highlight of the  progressions in the key of C include:
